Born in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Karl and Frances Young Bennett. She was a graduate of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA and was the widow of Gustav A. Kauzor who died in 1997. Mrs. Kauzor was a member of the Congregational Church of Christ in Tryon, NC. Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Cave and her husband William of Georgetown, SC, and Carol Walters of Phoenix, AZ. No local services are planned.
