Tryon, NC- Betty Louise Frederici, 82, formerly of Pennsylvania passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at White Oak Manor in Tryon, NC with her devoted husband by her side.Betty was born in Broome Co., NY and was daughter of the late George and Gertrude Morley Jeffrey. She was also predeceased by a son David R. Frederici.She was native to Pennsylvania prior to relocating two years ago to Tryon, NC. Betty enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening, knitting and bird watching. Walking on the beach and collecting shark teeth was one of her favorite things to do. She also loved cooking and baking.Betty is survived by her husband Frederick "Richard" of Tryon, her son; Duane R. (Kate) of Sherrills Ford, one sister; Joyce (Richard) Hyatt of PA, and two brothers; George Jeffrey of PA and Dick (Peggy) Jeffrey of LA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and close special friends the Benedict family of PA. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Park Road, Suite # 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.Private services will be held by the family.
