GAINSVILLE, GA - Betty Jo Cabrera, 68, of Marlette Rd., Gainesville, GA died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at her home. Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Edna Blackwell Dameron. Surviving is her husband, Jacintos Cabrera of Gainesville, GA; four daughters, Sharon Sanders of Boiling Springs, SC, Teresa Fowler, Terri Waller and husband, Lee, and Penny Hudson all of Gainesville, GA; one son, John Bruce of Gainesville, GA; one sister, Shirley Turner of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Bill Dameron of Landrum, SC. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Roxanne Bruce. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC with Dr. Darryl E. Maxwell officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
