Barry Cleveland Thompson, born March 16, 1961, in Tryon, North Carolina, passed away on February 24, 2026.

Barry was known for his quick wit and love of laughter. He had a personality that filled a room and a deep love for riding motorcycles, finding freedom on the open road.

He is survived by his daughters, Kelia Thompson Maner and Katie Thompson Hawks; his son, Joshua Caleb Thompson; his grandson, Mason Maner; and his nephew, James McAbee.

He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Cleveland Thompson, and his parents, Gladys Thompson Melton and Jimmy Thompson.

He will be remembered for his humor, his stories, and the love he had for his family.
