LANDRUM – Barbara Marie Pierce Britt, 73, of Landrum, passed away Thursday evening, December 1, 2022 at her home following a sudden illness.Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Sam Pierce and Jeanette Calvert Pierce. Barbara retired from Kraft Foods after 30 years of service. She went on to own and operate several businesses in the area including El Chili Rojo, Country Mouse, Plenty of Fish and Twigs Fine Dining. Barbara was an avid animal lover and enjoyed caring for others. She was a member of Landrum United Methodist Church.Surviving is her husband of twenty-one years, Felipe Farias Morales; one daughter, Sheri Rogers of Columbia; one grandson, Taylor Rogers of Spartanburg; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Lincoln Rogers; two sisters, Beverly Pierce and Brenda Pierce Black both of Landrum.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Belue Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Pierce and Reverend Lynn Stewart officiating.
