Audrey Elaine Silver, 76, of Rutherfordton passed away, Thursday evening, February 7, 2019 at her home.Born in Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ocie Henderson Hannon and widow of James Silver who passed away in 2017. Mrs. Silver retired from Broyhill Furniture and was a member of Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James Silver Jr.Surviving are three sons, Scottie Silver (Sherry) of Rutherfordton, Danny Silver of Austin, TX and Mark Silver of Rutherfordton; one daughter, Buffy Chubbuck of Rutherfordton; one sister, Judy Luckadoo of Rutherfordton. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Chris Osborn officiating.The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O.
