- Artist Almeda Kearns, 105, of Tryon, NC passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at White Oak of Tryon.Artist was the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Shear Hoover. She was a homemaker having lived in Dover, OH, Upland, CA, and Tryon, NC.Artist was preceded in death by her husband Ralph; two sisters, Mabel and Helen; a brother, Carl and his son, James (Jim), and grandson Jimmy.Artist is survived by a son, Richard (Virginia); granddaughters, Mary Livesay (Kenny) of Tryon, NC and Jamie Carl (John) of California; and grandsons, Richard Jr. (Wendy) of Arnold, MD, Jeffery, and Robert (Sara) of California. Also surviving are Alivia and Baily Livesay of Tryon, NC, Jason and Kalelyn Kearns of Arnold, MD and Jason and Lindsay Lamb, and Jeffery, Bella, and Ashley all of California.No services are planned.Interment will take place of Friday, January 26, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario, California.
