GAFFNEY, SC – Arnold Dean Clary, 71, of Gaffney, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 2, 2020 at Spartanburg Medical Center.Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Junie Leroy Clary and Verna Mae Humphries Clary. He was a retired electrician and loved his family, friends and golfing. Arnold was a simple, kind man who enjoyed being around others and helping people in need.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry Clary, Paul Clary and Billy Clary.Surviving are two daughters, Michelle Flynn (Scott) of Columbus and Nicole Crocker (Jeff) of Spartanburg; one sister, Helen Sue Carr of Spartanburg. Also surviving are six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at a later date.Arnold was a big blood donor and the family ask that in lieu of flowers, please consider becoming an organ donor or donate blood to honor him.
