– April Lynn Trejo, 46, of Lake Lure, NC passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 in her home. Born in Polk Co. Florida, she was a long time resident of Western NC and worked in the textile industry. A strong, hard working woman, April enjoyed life and always put others first. A loving mother of three, she is survived by two sons; Marcos and Joshua Trejo, both of Pea Ridge, NC; one daughter, Shyann Trejo of Sunny View, NC; two grandsons, Angel and Alonzo Trejo; a Brother, Jessy Cunningham of Darlington, SC; a sister, Sherrie Deese of Darlington, SC; and two nephews, J.J. Cunningham and Maliik Rogers. Also surviving is her significant other, Beanie Logan of Lake Lure, NC; her good friends, Kathy Lawter and Sandy Whitlock; and Bill and Rochelle Curtis, who she thought of as parents. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with the Rev. Alfred Depace officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. just prior to the service Monday, March 24, 2014 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC.
