MILL SPRING, NC -- Annie Gertrude Laughter, 94, of Mill Spring, NC, died Thursday, July 09, 2009 in The Golden Living Center in Hendersonville, NC.Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Romey and Melissa Brown Edwards. She was a member of Mill Spring First Baptist Church and was the widow of Talmage Laughter who died in 1991.Surviving is one son, Billy Laughter and his wife Doris of Mill Spring, NC. Also two grandchildren, Curtis and his wife Patti and Crystal and one great-granddaughter, Miranda. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Laughter who died in 1945.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2009 in Mill Spring First Baptist Church Cemetery in Mill Spring, NC with Dr. Chris Osborn officiating.
