GREEN CREEK, NC - Annie Louise Amato, 35, of Green Creek, NC passed away Friday morning, June 7, 2013 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills, Landrum, SC following a long illness.Born in Tampa, FL, she was the daughter of Linda Diane Wingard Amato of Green Creek, NC. She moved to Green Creek in March of 2002 coming from Tampa, FL. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed being an aunt. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Annie Wingard and paternal grandfather, Ted Amato, Sr. Surviving in addition to her mother is her twin sister, Jennifer Wilson (Jason) of Mill Spring, NC and sister, Sara Amato of Columbus, NC; paternal grandparents, Ted and Janie Novak of Pigeon Forge, TN; three nieces, Olivia, Rosaleah and Arieana. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.A private memorial service will be held at a later date.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
