Obituary
Anne Barber Cecil, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 21,
2023 at The Bridge of Lake Point Landing in Hendersonville, NC surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She lived with congestive heart failure for over 30 years which was followed by chronic kidney failure.
She was born in Tryon, NC and was the daughter of the late Ed and Dora Barber. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother that exemplified unconditional love. She was an entrepreneur and owned Blue Ridge Lighting Supply in Hendersonville, NC with her late husband Jack Cecil for 30 plus years.
Surviving include her two sons Mark Butler of Virginia, Michael Butler of Hendersonville, NC, and her three daughters Marianne Heeringa of Lake Wylie, SC, Amy Morgan of Columbus, NC and Jenny Klamfoth of Waxhaw, NC. She also has 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 17, 2023 at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC with Rev. Sam Beddingfield officiating.
Memorials may be made to Elizabeth House at 511 S. Allen Rd. Flat Rock, NC 28731.
