Ann E. (Havens) Denton died April 5, 2026. Born March 12, 1935, in Pittsburgh. PA, she was the daughter of Shelda T. and Andrew C. Havens. The family moved to Lancaster, NY in 1945 where Ann graduated from Lancaster High School and later from Bryant College, Providence, RI.

She was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Gilbert J. Denton; a brother, Bruce T. Havens and three children, Deborah A., Beth A. and Guy J. She is survived by son, Keith D. Denton; daughter, Sarah D. Parker, and grandchildren, Tyler G. Parker (Beatrice) and Sierra E. Parker.

The Dentons raised their family in Alden, NY and then moved to Columbus, NC in 1987 to enjoy their retirement. In 2002 they moved to Tryon Estates in Columbus.

Ann was a member of Tryon Presbyterian Church.

A private internment service will be at the Columbarium in the Memorial Garden at Tryon Estates.
