Obituary
Angela Bushe Jackson December 31, 1933 - August 27, 2024 Angela Bushe Jackson, 90, of Tryon, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at her home. Angie was born on New Years Eve 1933 in Ballydevitt, Donegal, Ireland.
After a childhood in Donegal, she moved to London, England and eventually to New York City where she met Thomas "Tom" Jackson. They married on May 11,1963 in Muttontown, NY. Over 61 years of marriage they enjoyed living in NY, NJ, SC and NC. All of their homes had beautiful gardens and potted plants that Angie spent many joyful hours tending. When not on the farm, they could be found traveling the world with friends old and new. She was delighted that her sons and grandsons recently became Irish citizens and share in her love of the outdoors wherever their travels take them.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Jackson, of the home. Her sons, Thomas "Tom" R Jackson, Jr (Jennifer) of Stockton, NJ and Andrew M Jackson (Diane) of Greensboro, NC: grandsons Andrew and Liam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, honor Angie by planting a garden and relishing its beauty and bounty.
