Andrew Harvey Yoder, 77 died on September 30, 2022 while serving on a mission trip in India.Married to Martha Boley Yoder for 56 years, together they built a life on prayer and honoring God.  Professionally, Andy specialized in concrete using his God given talents and abilities, he owned and operated his own concrete business. He was always ready to take on something new, an artist, inventor, and businessman teaching others how to live with character, creativity, and craftsmanship.  Andy always showed love for others and his family. When Andy walked into a room, he brought with him a quiet spirit and sense of peace and comfort. He always cared for the one's others overlooked. He was truly a man after God's heart who was a great example of love, humility, integrity, and a Christ like spirit. He had a huge heart for everyone around him and wanted nothing more than for them to know the love of the Father. He had a heart full of the fruits of the spirit…love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…and he truly exemplified each of these fruits and leaves us with that example.  Andy was a husband, a father, a grandfather, great grandfather, true friend and role model to all.  He lived a life reflected by the scripture "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another" John 13:34-35.  A life full of loving others as God loves us.He was predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Salmone Yoder; two sisters, Barbara Yoder and Alma Hertzler; and two brothers, Floyd Yoder and Samuel Yoder. In addition to his wife, Martha Boley Yoder, he is survived by his children, daughter, Bonita and David Hershberger; son, Dwayne and Katie Yoder, son, Alton and Jessica Yoder, daughter, Barb and Dave Witbeck, son, Stanley and Julia Yoder; grandchildren, Alicia and Ben Lapp, Eric Hershberger , Megan and Anthony Martin, Dawson Yoder, Garison Yoder, Angelika Nyblom, Taylor Nyblom, Arianna Nyblom, Brayden Nyblom, Alexis Yoder, Kyra Yoder, Colton Yoder, Andrea Witbeck, Jordan Witbeck, Ariella Yoder, Isaac Yoder, Anelise Yoder and great grandchildren Ayla, Aveline, Fleurie Lapp.  Also surviving are his sisters, Mary Ellen Hochstetler (Ernest), Regina Urso (Giovanni) and Sharon Mast (James) and brothers, David Yoder (Barbara), Joe Yoder (Lisa), Mark Yoder (Martha).A Celebration of life will be on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 3:00 p.m. at the Foothills Community Chapel in Columbus, North Carolina.Andy will be laid to rest at Foothills Community Chapel Cemetery during a private family graveside service.
