Lynn, NC - Alice Melton Storie, 84, of Lynn, NC died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 in White Oak Manor Nursing Center, Tryon, NC Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late James and Sarah McAbee Melton. She was the widow of Edward M. "Shorty" Storie who died July 6, 2006. Mrs. Storie was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving is one brother, Jack Melton of Hendersonville, NC. Graveside service will be held 2:00pm Friday November 28, 2008 in the Mill Spring First Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Parker officiating.
