COLUMBUS, NC -- Alice Price McIntyre, 78, of Columbus, NC died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, NC.Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Z. V. and Lillie Thompson Price. She was the wife of Doyce McIntyre who died in 2001.Surviving are two sons, Randy McIntyre of Columbia, SC and Jerry McIntyre of Richmond Hill, GA. One daughter, Denna McIntyre Harris of Hendersonville, NC. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry McIntyre who died in 2005. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2007 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC.Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC.The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service on Saturday in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.
