Carol Rose Phelps, 83, formerly of Tryon, NC died Saturday, June 23, 2012 in Elizabeth House, Hendersonville, NC.

Born in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Middleton Phelps. She moved to Tryon from Charlotte, NC and was a retired social worker. Carol was a member of the Congregational Church of Christ, Tryon, NC.

Surviving is a cousin, Ed Middleton of Tell City, IN.
